Music Video – O’Messy Life – Escape Velocity

The music video for “Escape Velocity”, the Summer of 2011 release from Newcastle band O’Messy Life.

Described in at least one review as one of the area’s best live bands, O’Messy Life formed in 2008, and have since released several EPs of material described as influenced by acts including Bright Eyes and The Pogues.

They’ve included instrumentation ranging from the organ to the trumpet in their work, and they’ve played shows with 2011 major breakthrough act The Vaccines and Sunderland’s Frankie and the Heartstrings.

“Escape Velocity” is available as a three-track single release on limited edition CD for £3, as well as for £1.50 digital download, from Tiny Lights Recordings. You can purchase either edition via Tiny Lights’ Bandcamp account.

Note: The music video for “Escape Velocity” contains some sequences with flashing imagery.
