NE1fm 102.5 is now 6 years old!

NE1fm 102.5 turned 6 years old on June 8th, meaning we’ve been broadcasting to the community of Newcastle and Gateshead for over 6 years and hopefully many more to come.

We had a fun packed day of celebrations from 10am with Kev Atkinson, Dan Pye at 12pm, Rob Pears at 2pm, Compton at 7pm-9pm and then a special show with parting station management, Kev Atkinson who ended the day with a special broadcast from 9pm till midnight.

Some of our Open Access Programming is broadcast from outside events

We have brought our Open Access Programming to live outside events.

We also broadcast from Community Centres for example live from Fawdon Community Centre in 2008.
