Arts and Culture was a two-hour look at a range of modern culture, hosted by Sandy Davidson every Monday at 2PM.
The core focus of the programme was a range of culturally relevant art forms, including poetry, dance, creative writing both past and present, and elements of theatre.
The poetry and writing of local artists featured in a special slot on the show, and cultural events at both the local and national level were also covered.
Throughout the show, Sandy Davidson coupled music with eclectic sounds, including the sounds of water, bird song and and thunderstorm, and also presented some of his own creative work for listeners.
Following a number of pilot broadcasts prior to its debut, Arts and Culture was first broadcast in its regular time slot in February 2012, before Sandy moved on to pastures new the following month.
