Interference is a dedicated electronic music broadcast, live every Tuesday on NE1fm 102.5 and featuring music of all persuasions and from every corner of the popular field of electronic music.
The content of the show comes from across the world, with forms of electronic music dating back 100 years coupled with recent tracks to present an eclectic mix of music. Some tracks are remixed, whilst others are broadcast in their full, original form.
Interference also features spots for bedroom producers and local unsigned talent to get their electronic tracks heard on the radio, a platform for airplay unavailable elsewhere for many such artists.
The show is laden with facts and snippets of information about the music played, making the show both entertaining and informative, and a must listen for any true fan of all forms of electronic music.
Interference is hosted by Mark Earle along with Hev Johnson, with their broadcast partnership dating back to the 1990s. Hev Johnson had previously presented Atomic on NE1fm with Carol Batie, until shortly before the launch of the Interference broadcast.
