Show Profiles – NE1fm Dance Anthems

NE1fm Dance Anthems is the show to kickstart your weekend, live for three hours every Friday from 8PM with host Gary Barnes.

As the name suggests, the three-hour broadcast features a selection of dance anthems, from 90s club classics to the latest tracks to hit local dance floors.

Regular guest mixes are also a feature of NE1fm Dance Anthems, with extended mixes curated by local DJs and by dance music production legends such as K-Klass.

There’s also a weekly rundown of the Commercial Club Top 10 Chart, and a look at what big events are on over the weekend, helping you to prepare for whatever your Friday night and beyond will bring.

Aside from presenting NE1fm Dance Anthems, Gary Barnes also led the NE1fm Broadcast Marathon with Rob Davies, which succeeded in achieving 76 hours of continuous broadcast on the station in September 2011.
