What kind of shows are on NE1fm 102.5?
We’ve shows covering music genres ranging from indie, punk and dubstep to soul, country and R&B, as well as a diverse range of talk and community programming covering topics including local history, sport and the paranormal.
There’s also one-off open access programmes from Monday to Saturday between 10AM and midday, and we broadcast live from events around Newcastle and Gateshead throughout the year, including several major local festivals.
We have regular shows targeted at everyone from teenagers to older residents, and there’s also special ethnic programming on some weekdays in languages other than English.
