The Saturday Mix is a weekly broadcast featuring up-to-date pop, dance and R&B, with requests and dedications, and is live every Saturday from 5 til 7PM.
Designed to help kickstart your Saturday night, The Saturday Mix is an opportunity to hear the best of new music, along with the occasional memorable chart hit from recent years.
The Saturday Mix has been part of the NE1fm schedule for over 100 episodes, reaching the landmark achievement in December 2011 with a special party edition of the show.
Local celebrity guests have occasionally appeared on the show, including Pam Royle, Ian Payne, Colin Briggs and Kim Inglis of local news fame.
Host Kyle Scott has been a presenter on NE1fm since 2007, and was briefly joined as presenter of The Saturday Mix by Tom Ryan in late 2011.
