10-12AM – Open Access Programming
Open slots, featuring one-hour broadcasts from a variety of local individuals and community groups, with an eclectic range of music and a diverse selection of topics of interest.
12-2PM – The Lunchtime Special
Ken Brady hosts the midweek edition of the daily magazine show, with two hours of community features, guests, interviews, music and more.
2-4PM – The Music and Trivia Show or North East Writers
Most Tuesdays feature The Music and Trivia Show, except for the second Friday each month, when we feature North East Writers.
Second Wednesday Each Month
2-4PM – North East Writers
A monthly broadcast showcasing the poetry and short stories of local writers, complimented by a selection of their favourite music.
All Other Wednesdays
2-4PM – The Music and Trivia Show
Tom Stuart, Enid Robson and Andrea Grist present a window in to the past with music and trivia in their aptly-named, long-running weekly broadcast.
6-8PM – The Three Legends
The famous football phone-in with Newcastle United legend Malcolm McDonald plus Bernie Slaven and Micky Horswill, as broadcast exclusively across Tyneside by NE1fm 102.5 daily.
8-10PM – Hit The North (East)
Ian Banach, John Nuttall and Jackie Miller take a look at what’s happening on the local music scene and promote indie and electronic music from Newcastle and Gateshead, as well as playing a selection from further afield.

Trevor Johnson brings you a show centred on the 1970s punk rock genre, including music both born out of and inspired by the scene.
