Work Place Workdown is a weekly selection of top tunes put together by presenter Dean Wears, broadcast on Tuesdays from 2 til 4PM.
Music featured dates from the 1970s to the present day, with dance floor classics, Motown hits and the latest chart releases mixed together to get you through part of the working day.
In addition to the music, Dean also brings you local news, including information on events in the area and other issues of interest to the local community.
Work Place Workdown has been part of the NE1fm schedule for a number of years under several names, including Hamburger’s Hits, Wears While You Work and simply Dean Wears, before settling on its current identity in 2011.
