A new month sees new shows to the NE1fm 102.5 Schedule:
On Monday evenings, Jay and Eddy will be live from 6 until 7pm with Attention Please. The team attempt to take on music from a broad spectrum of alternative genres linked via a common theme. Also on Monday evenings, Indie Dependent move to a new time slot of 7-9pm, presenting an entertaining mix of indie music,.
On Tuesday evenings, Jim Bennett moves to 5-7pm with NE1 Irish, catering for the Irish community of Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead. Paul Clayton will be bringing you League Talk at a new time of 7-9pm on Tuesday evenings with the usual Rugby news, results and guests from the local area.
On Wednesday afternoons, join Michael Robinson from 4-7pm for your drive home with music and chat, as well as all the latest travel updates. Hit The North (East), also on Wednesday’s, move to 7-9pm with John Nuttall, Ian Banach, and Jackie Purver, presenting Local Music as well as featuring an eclectic range of indie, alternative and electronic acts from further afield.
On Thursdays, Durdamziki will be on-air for an extra hour, 12-2pm. Pat Patterson will be joining Thursday’s (originally from Friday’s) for Drivetime at 5-7pm. Rob Davies will be live from 7-9pm – bringing you two hours of some of the hottest tunes about, interviews with celebrities, and a look back at what’s been going on in the world of music.
On Saturday’s, Join David Burd with The Unsigned Takeover as he gives exposure to the up and coming artists that are getting their first airplay. The ‘One’ Compton moves to 6-8pm on Saturday nights, taking you under the sheets for two hours of quality R&B.
And finally on Sunday’s, The James Cowen Radio Show is on-air for an extra hour – bringing you great music, chat and local features 10am-12pm. Laura and Emily follow at 12-2pm with current music and chat, and Rob Barnes will be bringing you Classical NE1fm at the earlier time of 2pm.
